Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Bat World MidCities. We are searching for volunteers to join us in rescuing and rehabilitating native Texas wildlife. Volunteers must be 18 years or older. Time commitments vary, depending upon the kinds of volunteer tasks fit your availability and interests. Please note that I do not have any volunteer opportunities at the Bat World MidCities location; like most wildlife rehabilitators I am home-based. However, there are several ways you can be involved.
Once we reach agreement on the level of participation that is best for you, there are a few ground rules.
- If you are scheduled to assist with an event or have a meeting scheduled with me, please let me know as soon as possible if you are unable to keep that commitment
- Training will depend on the level of involvement
- Working with wildlife carries some risks of injury (scratches, bites, etc). You are responsible for your own health and safety; I cannot provide financial assistance for medical expenses
- For satellite and transport subpermittees, an application to Texas Parks and Wildlife (including a back-ground check) is required

here, complete it, and return to
