Description

Euthanasia is a difficult subject to discuss, but it is a very important part of what we do as rehabilitators.  The truth is that we cannot save every animal that comes into our care, and in some cases it is not fair to the animal for us to try. In this workshop, we will focus on euthanasia for small mammals: the elements which must be taken into consideration when determining whether or not humane euthanasia is the best possible outcome, as well as examining the impact on the operator when euthanasia is required.
